We have seen Mercedes-Benz collaborate on many different projects like producing a Mercedes surfboard and mountain bike, but never have we seen anything quite like this, the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car.
There has been little to no progression in updating the classic golf buggy, so it is only natural that Mercedes-Benz took the initiative to reinvent transport on the golf course! If you think your golfing game needs to be spruced up and you want to be the belle of the golf club ball, you need to replace your standard boring golf buggy to the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car.
Keeping the small compact design, Mercedes has boosted the value by adding an integrated touch pad which controls the driving mode ‘sport’ or ‘eco’, the headlamps, windscreen heater, wipers and many more at the touch of a button.
On the large screen area beneath this, the occupants can display the layout of the golf course and their current position, or if desired activate an electronic score card. Gone are the days of the pen and paper scorecard!
From the design perspective there are a multitude of features that are made for the perfect round of Sunday golf. There is a refrigerator under the bench seat which is perfect to hold a few cheeky beverages, and a stowage tray under the dashboard that holds golf balls aligned in a row.
Another quirky detail to note are the pedals. The right pedal has a plus sign, the left a minus sign, a reference to Garia. In a both practical and charming way, they thereby indicate their functions as accelerator and brake in this electrically powered vehicle.
It can be argued that the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car is the ultimate golf buggy with its high tech functions and sleek design. Would you take it for a test drive on the green?

I asked Aust Star Motors to do a thorough and careful job – and they did not disappoint. I took the car for a 30 kilometer drive after the service was done, and I was pleasantly surprised. The engine ran smoothly and quietly, idled well, and climbed hills effortlessly. There were no warning lights or unexpected surprises. Overall I thought it ran better than it did before, despite a fairly major engine overhaul. The car was even washed when I picked it up, another pleasant surprise.- Charles P. | 20 June 2017
