Ever wondered what those numbers mean after the Service A or B Service indicator on your instrument display panel when your car is due for a service?
For an A and B Service, the number indicates how many additional items over and above the actual service is required. Both an A and B Service the numbers between 1 and 5 indicate an individual item that may need to be added to the service, such as brake fluid (which is due every 2 years), air filter, combination filter, fuel filter or spark plugs.
An A7 service indicates that a Transmission Service is due.
The B9 Service indicates 2 additional items of Brake Fluid and Transmission Service.
